Pierce County Search and Rescue 4X4’s

The Search and Rescue 4×4 volunteers provide personnel and 4 wheel drive vehicles for on or off road SAR operations. 4×4 units are used for on or off road rough terrain transportation of SAR personnel, search dogs, supplies and equipment. Training includes Safe Driving Techniques, Wilderness Navigation, Search and Rescue Techniques, Survival, First Aid, CPR and Communications. PC 4×4 members are trained observers and 4 wheel drive operators.
