Welcome to the Pierce County Search and Rescue Council’s website!
We are an association of certified search and rescue units within Pierce County, formed to promote the exchange of information between persons who are knowledgeable in Search and Rescue. To promote cooperation with any other organizations or agencies, which have search and rescue and disaster operation responsibilities, and to promote continued education.

The Pierce County SAR Council has monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month, at 1900 hours at Pierce County Emergency Management.
The Pierce County DEM has released a policy on background checks for members and potential members. I have loaded it under the Documents section.
