Pierce County Search and Rescue 4X4's
The Search and Rescue 4x4 volunteers provide personnel and 4
wheel drive vehicles for on or off road SAR operations. 4x4 units are used
for on or off road rough terrain transportation of SAR personnel, search
dogs, supplies and equipment. Training includes Safe Driving Techniques,
Wilderness Navigation, Search and Rescue Techniques, Survival, First Aid,
CPR and Communications. PC 4x4 members are trained observers and 4 wheel
drive operators.
