Search and Rescue Council

We are an association of certified search and rescue units within Pierce County, formed to promote the exchange of information between persons who are knowledgeable in Search and Rescue. Our mission is to facilitate cooperation with any other organizations or agencies, which have search and rescue and disaster operation responsibilities, and to advocate for continued education.

We are a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, registered with the State of Washington as a Charitable Organization, and a Nonprofit Corporation. Any donations may be sent to the following address:

The Pierce County SAR Council has monthly member meetings on the second Thursday of the month, at 1900 hours at Pierce County Emergency Management.
